Leyte Catholic Cemetery in the Philippines


November 2, All Souls Day or sometimes called the "Day of the Dead". We all went to visit my (brother's deceased wife) sister-in-law's grave at the Leyte Catholic Cemetery, Diit, Tacloban just this afternoon. It's about 10-15 minutes away from the City.

The observance of All Souls Day this year, 2008, was generally peaceful and orderly and that no untoward incidents or accidents were reported. But yesterday November 1, All Saints Day, the cemetery was congested and traffic was so heavy!
i like this shot... the young boy climbed the 4th story high grave and lit the candles up for his relatives... hehe you're my hero!
